Drapers Hall

In the autumn of 2022, we took the decision to carry out a refurbishment of our ancient Livery Hall which was last undertaken in the late 80’s.  Central to ensuring no damage was caused to this Grade 2* listed building was the selection of an appropriate scaffolder who, amongst other specialists, would be sympathetic to the surroundings.

We could not have been more impressed by RPF’s approach.  They completely understood the sensitivity of the site, were very careful in both the in and outload of some 11 kms of scaffolding.  It is testament to quality of their workmanship and ethos that no damage was done throughout this complex build.

The scaffold build was itself a wonder of engineering ingenuity, skill and experience.  To see so many workmen (often 30+) confidently going about their business on a raised platform some 40m up throughout the months of restoration, says it all.

To anyone thinking of a scaffolding company with the specialist skills for such a sensitive project I’d say look no further than RPF.  They have our absolute confidence and we certainly be using them again.
